Oct. 12: today we tried another trip to WholeFoods to see if I could manage the aisles and make purchases on a Saturday morning. It worked and I had a slice of vegan pizza! It was so tasty! Unfortunately, we did not have our phones and couldn’t take a photo 🥴😔

Oct. 11: my day was not so exciting as yesterday. However, the big thing here today was the installation of ceiling fans in the master bedroom, living room, and outdoor patio. This will help cut costs for electricity. I hope to go on another exploration trip tomorrow. Love you all, Mom

Oct. 6, 2019: The new pain med seems to be improvement. Hospice is changing it and we all feel there is definite improvement. I also have two diuretics that I take each AM after breakfast. Kris taught Dad to make a simple meatball supper, too, and we all liked it! Love you, Mom

Oct. 5: Kris worked hard to hang three mini-pendant lamps in our kitchen to help provide soft light in that area. It really looks so much better! My meds have been changed by Hospice and they definitely are an improvement so far as comfort is concerned.

Kris took me on a really long walk today. We walked into the first parts of the development of our community and down to the quiet part where we live. It is cool & comfortable in the shade; warm in the sun. That was a fun experience with Kris.

Oct. 3, 2019 My regular hospice nurse (Mark) came today. We were able to clarify meds that need to be discontinued and identify the new one that needs to be introduced: Morphine ER. I also will be taking 2 Sena Plus pills twice daily and Miralax once daily in the morning to combat constipation. Tonight
