Wow! So many kindnesses are happening to me that are unexplainable. Some sort of inter human communication is occurring. ❤️😀

Sept. 25, 2019:

Yesterday the doorbell rang; a package was delivered to me. It was a beautiful prayer blanket crocheted by an elderly woman in a church group in Indiana! Joy, an old friend of Kris’ in NC, had sent this lovely blanket along with a kind card in which she reminded me that it was only “a little over a year ago that we met” and how she thinks of me every time she looks at the furniture (which we had convinced her to take!) and cooks with the dishes that we had. The 100+ year old furniture is the old oak table that was my dad’s parents’ table along with the oak chairs that we, as a family, had sat at in the Bloomfield Hills/Birmingham house! She remembers the stories I shared with her and said they still make her smile! To top this off, Joy is an oncology nurse at Duke Medical Center. She is touched on an almost daily basis by families and patients who are sharing their stories. The literal web that has been woven connecting old friends, family heirlooms, memories, God, prayers, prayer shawls hand made in the Midwest where I was born is almost overwhelming to me. Joy also sent a comfort cross made in the Holy Land from olive wood and I can hold this cross close to me when I’m feeling the need. How can we not feel there is a higher purpose going on here? A web of inter human connectivity?
