October 21, 2019: my hospice nurse, Mark, provided details today on pick up time for tomorrow, October 22, and instructions regarding meds, packing, etc. Also, he talked with the doctor and the doctor is changing from Miralax to Lactulose to improve bowel movements. This new prescription was delivered this evening and I was told to take a dose right away. It made me feel nauseated but we used Haldol to counter the nausea successfully. Now we hope for looser bowel movements. I am picked up at 9:00 AM tomorrow by the transportation service and taken to the Respite Care facility. Chuck wants to check on me so he will come later to make sure all is well. I love you all.
