Oct. 20, 2019: today Dad helped me to get out of the house by taking me to the shopping mall where AJ’s (the place where you can buy gourmet type groceries, sandwiches, pastries) is located and Dad had a steak sandwich and corn on the cob. I had chicken salad with grapes in it. Very tasty. I am trying hard to have some sort of adventure each day. I also am seeking to listen to Christian music on my Alexa. The Alexa has turned out to be an extremely significant item in my daily life; I am most appreciative of having it. Today I also returned to Walgreens and bought face cream for dry skin and lip balm.
As you noticed a couple of days ago, I am using a Rollator rather than the “pick up and push” type of walker. The Rollator is much easier on my back (not so painful) and I also can sit on it at a comfortable and appropriate height at a table. This has opened up the opportunity for me to eat at the dining areas at Whole Foods, AJ’s, other restaurants.
