I am listening to a book about Thomas Jefferson.

[From a text chat]

Rob:
I asked Kris a lot of questions about how things are going for you and dad and I felt better informed at the end of our call.

Mom:
That’s good, Rob. Kris was a tremendous help. He did so many thoughtful things for us; understands our medical needs here; met my hospice nurse; interacted with my care giver, Carinna; and so forth.

Rob:
That sounds great. I understand you got an Alexa speaker and can listen to music now. I’m glad to hear that. I wonder if any of my songs are available.

Mom:
Yes. Kris bought an Alexa & set it up. Now I can hear different genres of music at different volumes. I am listening to a book about Thomas Jefferson, too. Alexa is bringing me great pleasure. 😀

Rob:
I’m glad to hear that. What did you have for breakfast?

Mom:
Breakfast: Oatmeal with flax seeds & dried cranberries. Question: would I search by your name or title of piece to see if I can play a song that you are playing?

Rob:

I had coffee, a soft boiled egg and Baltic rye bread. For breakfast. Can I post your last two notes in the blog?

Mom:
Yes.
