Oct. 17: Yesterday was declared Exploration Day by Dad and he took me to a national park where we used to enjoy hiking and driving on the Cactus Trail.

We walked on part of the handicap trail where it is paved. I saw some pretty wild flowers and some critters running around. It got rather warm so we turned around and came back to the car.
Then we drove down Speedway Road to Whole Foods and bought pizza and had lunch. After lunch we went on another adventure to Frost.
All of the food made me full! Last night I thought I would be sick but I did fine.
This morning Dad was up at 4:00 AM! He finally fell asleep at 1:30 PM.
My hospice nurse came today to check on me. I am doing fine relative to the fact that I have Stage 4 Cancer.
I use a rollator now which is easier on my back than a hand pushed one. Dad also bought me MuMus or nightgowns to accommodate my changed body shape. They are far more comfortable. I send my love to everyone.
