Oct. 14: sitting on our patio in back yard. When you have cancer, your body changes and swelling occurs. You need looser clothing. Yesterday Dad and I went to Walmart and bought a MyMu, or loose nightgown, for me to try. It’s perfect! Dad will buy another one so I have two outfits. My right hip is hurting and I sometimes wonder if I can bear the pain. Yesterday was so much fun but I fear those days will be cut short. I love you all, Mom

I don’t know how much longer I can do the blog. I hurt and that makes it hard for me to write. Please forgive me. I love you, Mom

R: I understand. If you feel you can write, that’s great.
Just do your best. I love you too.

I’ll do my best. I want to share what I’m going through but sometimes it’s too much for me. I’m trying. Love you, Mom

R: I understand. Thanks for trying. Dee Dee has told me she appreciates reading your entries. I’m sorry to hear about the pain.

I’m sure DeeDee appreciates the entries; it helps her feel in touch. You’ve done her a real favor 😀

R: 🙂

My hospice nurse should be coming here soon. Btw, DeeDee & I had nice conversation a couple of nights ago!

I had a good 1-hr. conversation with Rebecca last night. We were contemplating why women often seem openly enthusiastic about each other’s hair, but men don’t (at least not in my experience)! It all started with her talking enthusiastically about Sarah’s new hair style.
