October 3, 2000: today Dad took us to Truland Burger where we had Neumann Ranch burgers and whole grain bowls. One last hoorah! I can’t believe I ate a burger!

October 29: sorry I missed yesterday’s entry. Today Dad and I had a nice conversation with Kris as he was working his way from his home to work in Loveland. I need family to understand that I am not in the same condition that I was a few weeks ago when they were here. Time

October 27, 2019: today was very slow day. We had planned to go to Whole Foods but ended up doing nothing! One of the smoke detectors in our hallway decided to beep intermittently starting at the wee hours of the morning and Dad tried to determine which one was causing the issue. A friend and

October 26, 2019: so glad to be in my own home. Slept well last night in my own bed and with adjustments to the meds schedule to accommodate needs. Carinna gave me a shower, a spa massage treatment on my feet, cooked food for us for the next week, and, in general, spoiled us! Dad

October 25: Exciting day. Left hospice respite facility. Traveled by wheelchair van to 7180 [WCFT]. Dad and Carinna were here to greet me. I felt very welcomed. Carinna is trying to spend more daytime hours with me and fewer night time hours so Dad can have business hours to run errands.

October 24: Looking forward to going home tomorrow morning early. The nursing assistant I have is doing an amazing job of cleaning up. I’ve been blessed to have her. I hope Carinna will be able to care for me earlier in the day and not so late in the day when businesses are closed. Dad
